Our Horses
The Eternal Flame 1998 stallion by Pride's Royal Master out of Pride's Heartbreaker by Pride's Hallelujah. Lots of Pride there! We purchased Flame as an eleven month old from Maude Hamilton of Virginia. At the age of three years old, his unique way of going became apparent and we were so glad we had not gelded him! He is a very special horse. He excels at dressage and trail obstacles and he is a blast to play with at liberty, rearing on que. He has won multiple grand championships both english and western. He is gentle under saddle and in the breeding barn. He is a proven sire with many gorgeous foals to his credit.
Lemon Drop 1998 mare by Generator's Sundrop out of Angel With Cash by Coin's Hard Cash. We purchased Lemon Drop at a sale in Tennessee when she was a yearling filly. It was the most money we had ever paid for a horse and we don't regret a penny! She is our queen bee and she gives Bucky big, wet kisses. She is the ultimate western pleasure horse with two national titles to her credit. Lemon Drop is the proud dam of two gorgeous fillies who show her looseness and boldness already. The future looks bright.
Dangerous Starz 1999 mare by Gen's Armed And Dangerous out of Pride's Star Attraction by Pride's Favorite. Rio, her barn name, is our big orange horse. She moves like flowing water and four beat walks even in a panic. She is a superb show horse but her passion in life is going hunting. She tiptoes around the forest looking for game, bringing to mind Elmer Fudd hunting "wabbits". She is the dam of a filly by Flame and from the moment her daughter was born she loved being a mother. Bucky had written on the bulliten board- Rio, due April 5th and sure enough, on April fifth, here came her foal, Nova. Rio looked at us as if to say, "I know what I am doing here."
Ritz's Black Cameo 2003 mare by He's Puttin' On The Ritz out of Black Cameo by Good Advice, AKA Lashes, was purchased as a three year old. She was in training at Cheveaux Stables in Sherwood, Oregon. The late Diane Gueck called and said, "Come and get this horse!" We did, and what a horse! She is so loose, it is as if she has no bones. And what a head shake! She has a big stride and a loving attitude. She won a championship at the North American Gaited Horse Championships and a reserve at the Carousel Charity Horse Show. Mostly though, she is our "Black Beauty.
Classic Ramblin 1999 mare by Merry Go Rambler out of Honey's A Masterpiece truely is a classically bred mare. She is solid boned and has hooves seemingly of iron. Her gaits are solid and she is a superb trail horse. Rosey, as she is known around the barn, is a horse anyone can ride. Our grandaughter rides her, at times backwards, see their photograph under Lessons. Rosey has a fine colt to her credit, by The Eternal Flame. Her son, Flame's Patronis, shows promise as a trail horse and show horse.
Flame has a unique long stride with natural suspension up front.
