this has been our 4th clinic and we are always eager to move to the next level. We want rush home and work with our new "tools" that enhance the gait of our walkers.

The mare that i bought from Norm and Liz (Belle) is doing awesome thanks to the information that you gave me on how to get her where we want her. What a great clinic it was! Thank you, Bucky, for once again showing my mare and I what is possible. We have been practicing shoulders fore, haunches in, and moving those body parts. (trying real hard to not rely on that inside reign) Her left side is definitely less responsive than her right. I still need to pick up those spurs, though repetition is working for now. Oh, I also just got "Lessons in Lightness" in the mail today. We're going on vacation for a couple of weeks, and it will be a great time for me to dive into it. Though, not having a horse with will be a bit like torture... Again, thanks so much for everything! The BLESS clinic is invaluable...thank you so much for bringing it all the way up here to Northern Minnesota! 

this week was my 8th private lesson at Sparks'Bless Your Walking Horse clinic with Bucky and Nancy Sparks. I met them several years ago and over the years, their teaching methods and philosophies have helped me understand and maximize the solid 4- beat flatwalk and the running walk potential in all of our Walking Horses. Each clinic I say , this was the best one, and I find myself saying that again this week. Bucky's straight-forward approach and hands-on methods made a huge diffrence in my riding and my horse's gaiting. I now have "a clue!" I have the tools to progress and improve while my horse is now able to get into a comforable gait and is starting to hold it for longer periods of time. 

Bucky's down to earth style helps learners relax and get into a learning frame of mind. His instruction educates and empowers at the same time. He makes you believe that you CAN, and so can your horse without discomfort or fear. 

Bucky has the ability to break down training to the essential functions while getting his techniques and principles across to the riders and auditors, excellent experience. 

VERY knowledgeable and has a reason for all he suggests with his training methods. Has a way of explaining things that keeps your attention. He just makes you want to listen a little harder so he can show you how to fix it. It was interesting to me that Chris being the first rider on the first day, got the same quality of instruction being the last rider on the second day. Bucky sure gave everyone their moneys worth and then some. As for myself, I have a new best friend.(My Stallion)
