We have had a week of snow, rain, sleet, and mud !!it's good for the hay crop, but I'm ready for some warm weather.

I get a little whiney this time of year, when spring doesn't come. But I can't be whiney when I look at the severe weather that has hit places like Alabama and Missouri. Those poor people need our prayers and help to rebuild their lives. This makes a little snow and cold seem trivial compared to their problems. What happens to the animals ? Yet alone the trouble that these people have to endure.

On a lighter note, I was woke up at 2:30 this morning by the dogs barking and the dreaded sound of clip-clop, clip-clop down the road. I jumped up and threw on my bathrobe and boots, went outside with the flashlight and saw the nighteyes of a herd of horses in the road. They were not mine this time, but my neighbor's. I hated to call him, but I had to. We rounded them up and then went back to bed. Why do they always break out at night ?
